EXCELLENT Based on 3006 reviews Posted on Sarrah BrownTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Huge shout out and much gratitude to Dr. Siegel and his assistant Arianne! I have a fear of the dentist, but this was the best experience I’ve ever had. They were so kind, calm, and friendly. They made me feel comfortable the whole time and even gave me a blanket. I needed a root canal and was very nervous, but he did such a great job that I wasn’t afraid at all. I was so relaxed I actually fell asleep during the procedure. I’m so grateful for how caring and attentive they both were.Posted on Connie LangeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sandy my hygienist was amazing. She was gentle, open and honest on the health of my teeth. I am new to the centre and am very happy I choose Kelowna Dental CentrePosted on Dianne HoltTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would not recommend this business as in the last year they have 3 different names (NTT, KDC, KIC) when the reviews a year ago were the worst I have seen yet anywhere; but their consult is at least free and the practice of other dentists to charge for a consult is highly unethical as it forces people to not get 2nd opinions at $200 or more a pop. KDC has another way of doing this by insisting that they can't do the consult without a CBC-T scan which are difficult to get without paying for a consult with a surgeon after paying for a consult with an orthodontist prior, so you are already out about $600+ and maybe even had to pay for a consult from your regular dentist prior to that adding another $200+. If you get the CBC-T scan at KDC it is 'free' but if you want to use it to get a second opinion by another dentist they charge a whopping $500 + tax to send it. The regular charge for a CBC-T scan starts at $115 and I had one for $150 at Burtch Dental and they send it to anyone you want for free. The other weird thing about KDC is that the consult is not with a dentist but is with a salesperson (this is not transparent) and for myself I walked out before she began. After I got a CBC-T scan I thought I would get the consult for more information, and I tried to book with them online and by phone a few times each, leaving messages etc., and they have blocked my number refusing to call me back. I was polite when I was there before, albeit a little shocked about their CBC-T scan protocol, but polite. Second opinions are not allowed here.Posted on DannyFanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The hygienist was careless and hurt my gums three or four times during the procedure. He charged me four units for less than 45 minutes of work, and a significant amount of time appeared to be spent just waiting and doing nothing. In addition, he performed a gum test without explaining why it was needed or what the results were. I had to ask him myself for this information. His accent was also difficult to understand. He claimed that my lower teeth had built-up calculus, even though I had just had a cleaning two weeks ago, and he insisted on cleaning it again. Does this mean I am expected to have a cleaning every other week?Posted on A (Addy)Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great staff, I have Alex for cleanings usually and she is lovely. Super friendly and thorough with her work. Thanks KDC!Posted on gavin tothTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sandy is an exceptional practitioner and I have been so fortunate to have my routine cleanings with her for years now. She is both thorough and efficient every time, and my teeth feel outstanding following every appointment. Had another great examination with Dr. Abel today too. It’s no wonder patients hold in her in such high regard…Her knowledge and bedside manner are every patient’s dream. Common Emergency Dental Concerns
If you are in pain, have swelling, bleeding, or a damaged tooth, it is best to call us. We can help determine how urgently you need to be seen.
It depends on the issue, but in many cases, yes. We try to see you as quickly as possible, often the same day. Either way, we’ll always guide you on what to do next.
Don’t touch the root of your tooth, and put it in a small container filled with milk. Then call us immediately for instructions and urgent care.
Yes. You do not have to be an existing patient to be seen for an emergency. If you are in pain or something feels urgent, call us, and we will help you get the care you need.
It depends on what treatment is needed. Before anything begins, we explain what we see, talk through your options, and go over fees so there are no surprises.
Sedation for a Calmer Experience
Your safety is always our top priority. Before treatment, we complete a detailed consultation and review your medical history to make sure sedation is safe and right for you.
Surgical procedures are completed with IV sedation.
IV sedation helps you stay relaxed and comfortable during treatment. Many patients say the experience feels calm and easy.
For extra peace of mind, we offer a complimentary sedation shuttle with pickup and drop-off included.
We’ll explain your comfort options during your consultation.
